Eve Epstein is the VP of Content at Hunker, the fastest growing home and decor site that offers design solutions and tips from real people for real people. We discuss what she's letting go (design wise) for 2020, and what's new on the horizon for Hunker in 2021.

I don’t know about you, but I am ready to move onto a New Year!!! So I was thrilled when Eve Epstein from Hunker agreed to come on the podcast, and discuss what she’s letting go (design wise) for 2020, and what’s new on the horizon for Hunker in 2021. Plus, we had some real talk around cultural appropriation in interior design; what should you ask yourself before buying something just because it looks exotic or cool?

At Hunker, she leads editorial, social media and creative partnerships - growing the brand to one of the top home and decor sites within just two years. Additionally, under her leadership, Hunker has secured key partnerships with Fortune 500 companies as well as major influencers within the home decor and design space such as Walmart, Home Depot, Blu Dot, and Danish Design.

She’s spoken nationally on sustainable and ethical design, branding through design, cultural appropriation and more. Her work has been highlighted in Forbes, Business of Home, and the Los Angeles Times. A writer, editor, and media expert, she has also co-authored two books including X vs. Y: A Culture War and The Scratch & Sniff Book of Weed (Abrams, 2017).

With nearly 20 years of experience building content and e-commerce brands, she began her career as a magazine writer and editor, contributing to national publications including Vanity Fair, Glamour, and Allure.
