Angela Belt is the principle designer of Angela Belt Art and Style LLC, she is also an interior stylist and the host of the Moodboard Podcast. She is the interior stylist for the book, REMIX: Decorating with Culture, Objects and Soul, released by Penguin Random House in 2013.


Last week, I had grand plans of kicking off season 4 of The Moodboard Podcast with the founder & CEO of Sweeten, Jean Brownhill; but then the world was turned upside down due to an insurrection at the Capital building by Trump supporters in Washington, DC. I decided this was not the week to treat life or my podcast as business as usual. 


So in rare form, I took questions that you asked on IG, and shared my thoughts for this week’s podcast interview. To all of the listeners out there, please know I enjoy being the interviewer FAR MORE than been the interviewee.


This week my mood board is focusing on self care, and thinking about what are you going to do to speak up against hate. The interior design industry is not immune to racism and inequality, now is the not the time to be silent, please speak up!!!
